Disney Channel’s Zombies is a hit with everyone from kids to adults. The primetime program is the #1 specialty entertainment program with kids, teens, millennials, and female viewers, and #2 with adults ages 18-49 and 25-54. All this love has turned Zombies into the highest-ranked primetime movie of the broadcast year!
Set in the planned community of Seabrook, 50 years after a zombie apocalypse segregated the town, the film follows teens Zed (Milo Manheim) and Addison (Meg Donnelly) as they navigate high school, popularity, prejudice, and fitting in. It’s a lighthearted musical in the tradition of High School Musical, and it’s clear that the combination of song, dance, and the popularity of zombies is a winner for Disney.
Action-packed, dramatic programs often get plenty of attention and coverage, but the viewership for Zombies shows that people of all ages enjoy lighthearted fun, too.
